This is really important for those of us who are fighting rape culture here in Brazil!

There is a description in the link, but here goes a more detailed explanation:

There’s a very famous blog in Brazil called Testosterona. It’s sponsored by MTV Brazil and it’s hosted by their official website. Its slogan is “The modern male’s blog” and all of its content is misogynistic, sexist, offensive and, sometimes, aggressive - towards women, of course. Until now, everything’s permitted for the sake of “humor”, but we’ve had ENOUGH! This blog’s posts have gone too far.

Some months ago, a “funny” video was posted, called “How to Get Your Girlfriend to Have Anal Sex”. This video consists of an acting, showing a young couple: Billy and his girlfriend (as far as I remember, the girlfriend doesn’t have a name). The narrator tells us that Billy wants to have anal sex with his girlfriend, but she doesn’t. Obviously, Billy does not respect her and tries to convince her in several ways.

At the end of the video, the narrator tells Billy to knock her up with a brick, take her - unconscious - to bed and rape her. Yes, you read correctly. The video shows it: Billy hitting her with a brick and both of them on bed after, the girl unconscious, and Billy very happy for finally having anal sex. Or better, let’s give it the right name: for RAPING his girlfriend.

As if it wasn’t disturbing enough already, the video ends with the narrator saying, with a laughing voice: “She’s not laughing now, is she?” and, finally, some sentences appear on the screen, telling us why anal sex is better. Two sexual/pleasure-related reasons are given and the last one is: “Because it is more degrading to women!” (this reason is stressed as the most important!)

I don’t think this needs further explanation. Anyone who thinks this is funny needs to consider becoming a decent human being for a change.

Testosterona’s owner has deleted this video from the blog. But he continues to degrade and offend women in unacceptable levels (as if any level of it were acceptable at all…) and MTV continues to sponsor it!

This shit needs to stop. No one deserves to be so aggressively offended for the sake of “humor”. This is not humor, this is rape culture being openly supported. 

RAPE IS NOT A FUCKING JOKE!

Help us pressure MTV President, Mr. Van Toffler, so MTV Brazil stops sponsoring and supporting this disgusting blog.
