Project Runway this week was a big pile of hate, but no one on Tumblr seems to be talking about the massive amount of slut-shaming coming from the judges, only the fat-shaming! The lowdown:
Client: I really like this dress, I got what I asked for, I feel comfortable.
Judges: Well, you look slutty and like you’re a prostitute.
Dear judges,
Clothing does not denote behavior, and it’s not your place to police the taste OR behavior of someone else. This challenge was not “Design for Heidi,” it was “Design for a client whose tastes in clothing are probably different than those of Heidi, Michael, and Nina.”
What must you think when you go to the beach! Those bikinis show so much skin, those girls must ALL be sluts, better go shame them for wearing what they like.
